The Storage Sources Group was formed in Chicago on January 13, 1990. We were excited about the prospect of doing things together that we couldn’t possibly do as individual stores. We now have 32 stores in the group.

One of the many advantages of belonging to our group is the full color catalogs. These catalogs are consumer catalogs showing the variety of storage and organization products in our members stores. They are specifically designed to bring customers into our stores. We did our first catalog in July, 1990 for the Back-To-School selling season. We are presently doing 4 catalogs per year, Winter (January), Spring (April), Back-To-School (July) and Holiday (November). One of the requirements for membership is that each store must take at least 10,000 of one of the four catalogs per year. Most members take every catalog since it is their best results producing advertising.

The Storage Sources Group have over 120 companies that are quoting special discounted prices and special terms or freight programs for our members on their everyday orders.

We have a national MasterCard/Visa discount processing program for our members. This saves them on their credit card processing costs every day. We have a national freight discount program that greatly reduces the cost of motor freight of products delivered to the member stores. We also have a Buy-Sell program by which members can purchase items from each other in order to balance stocks and eliminate slow moving items.

One of the qualifications for membership is that you have a retail storefront location and sell a majority of your sales in storage and organization items for the entire home as well as closet items.
